|Managing Plant Availability|
The Objective of this workshop is to provide an understanding of the applicable methods for evaluating and improving system performance and to understand the important considerations in performing system analysis using failure rate data and failure behaviour parameters.
Participants will use Availability Workbench™ AvSim™ software and work through actual industry examples.
This is an excellent course for designers, asset performance managers, asset managers and reliability engineers that are accountable for achieving optimum outcomes for system availability or plant capacity.
Availability Simulation and Modeling helps you predict the impact of design and maintenance decisions far into the future so that you can determine the best design and strategy alternatives. Organizations desire to minimize their investment in spare parts. In “Availability Simulation & Modeling”, ARMS shows you how to make the right decision about spares stocking levels as well as where to stock spares to minimize overall business costs.
2. Network and System Analysis using Reliability Block Diagrams
10. Continuous Evaluation and Optimisation
Upon completion, participants will have a clear understanding of how to determine system level availability, maximum plant capacity MTBF and MTTR. They will know how to assess the impact of individual equipment reliability issues and maintenance actions on the system performance.
Attendees will have a clearer concept of the role of failure data and how they can use it and why it is worth collecting. Their focus will change from past KPI measures to forward predictions and decision-making.
